Hello all!
Just wanted to share some great experiences about my weekend (Yes, I guess I’m being selfish and not sharing anything of value here, but I will TRY to review them for the sake of being helpful!).
Valentine’s was great. Some people hate the holiday but I love any excuse to give gifts so I started early. I made some cute, little Pinterest cookies-in-a-jar for some of my family members from the Crazy Little Projects blog. They all loved their gifts.
My husband and I were extremely excited about our V-day date because we went to Chama Gaucha; it’s basically a Paleo-foodie-lover’s fancy restaurant. It has an unlimited huge salad bar and all of the meat you could possibly want. It’s a Brazilian steakhouse and waiters will come bring you different cuts and types of meat during your dinner service. We loved it! Here’s a photo of my first glass of alcohol (wine) since the Whole 30.
And among other small gifts, my husband knows my heart. He bought me the physical copy of Marie Kondo’s master class book: Spark Joy. <3
Excuse the dog hair that is inevitable. =/
On Saturday afternoon we left to Austin for my half-marathon race taking place Sunday morning. I was excited to run it with my running buddy, a friend from middle school, Andrea. We ran so much for so many years, it was only logical to have a 10-year reunion since our last run together.

The course was very hilly and slowed me down a lot. I am excited to try a flat course and see how much I can PR there!
Most photos by Jason <3 .
I hope these photos serve as inspiration for your next run! Thanks for reliving the experience with me!
xoxo,
B
