There are those weeks when everything just goes as planned. Where all of your tasks just go according to plan and you feel unstoppable. It’s not a coincidence or luck; the great week you just had (or haven’t had a in a long time!) was due to some sort of planning. Whether it was you packing your gym bag the night before or you waking up slightly earlier, your day has already started differently and it is noticeable in the way you feel the rest of the day, the way you achieve tasks quicker, and the clarity you carry in your mind during your day. And you can have it! These are the steps I take to have a fab week.
Planning out a daily to-do list. Each night, take time to write a to-do list for the next day. This can seem tedious, but it is extremely helpful. Write at least 5 items, whether those are things you need to do but never have the time to do it, or you have to tackle the baby steps of a bigger project. Doing this will allow you to have a more fulfilling day when you already have a lot of things going on already. Commit to do this and make it a habit!
Working out at least 4 times a week. The benefits of doing this are endless: increase in happy hormones, a tighter bod, and a form of discipline. We don’t have to outline the rest! I like to do this in the mornings so I have a good day, overall!
Waking up early but sleeping for at least 7 hours. Starting your day earlier will allow you to do so much more! Look at your to-do list and crank out something you have to get finished that you can split up in 10 minutes of daily increments.
Meal-prepping/preparing a food template to go by each week. I save so much money when I do this! All you have to do is grab a container the morning of and put it in your lunchbox and you’re good to go. How easy was that? Dedicate 2-3 hours on a Sunday or Monday to do this and you will be set for the week!
Pampering yourself once a week. This will keep you from shopping while doing things at home: having a glass of wine when reading, taking a hot bath with some essential oils, using a facial mask you splurged on. You will save money and be happier at home.
Meditating as many times as possible. A short 10-minute meditation each morning brings about a bunch of benefits: you are reshaping your brain when you’re not aware of doing so, helps with stress management, increases creativity juices, increases focus and self-control. I mean, and a bunch of other things.
Writing at least 3 things you are grateful for. This practice has made me happier. I don’t know if it’s because I used to blow things out-of-proportion when something negative happened in my day, but now I love the blessings coming my way more than becoming irritated at something minor. Doing this will make you see the glass half full instead of half empty. Do this nightly in a pretty journal of yours.
