In case you’re absolutely dying to stop looking at your life for a few minutes and are just wanting to know about my life, here are some weekend recaps (I feel the need to say that I was being sarcastic).
New Orleans in San Antonio. A new restaurant called Nola Brunch & Beignets is opening up here around the neighborhood. Hip-hip-hooray! If the country continues to our city to lower our obesity rate: it’s not happenin’ man.

My friend Jacki does not like fishy-looking things, so when she was served a big whopper of a crab leg…yikes.
Then, one of my wonderful friends, Sabrina, told her family she was pregnant! Yay! All captured on raw video, unfortunate for us, this webpage does not support raw. Insert sad face here.
Then, sadly, my 2002 Jetta needed some costly repairs. My husband and I decided to go get my first “new” vehicle. You see, it’s really a first for me; I have never financed a car before, I loved the #gazelleintensity of having freedom of no car payments for the past ten years. We snowballed all of this straight into our student loans. Fortunately for both of us, we got a raise, and we are able to save up for a car that’s a better commuter car for me. I drive 60 miles/day to do travel therapy in my own car before I jump into the company car’s. So, needless to say, I bought my dream car…

When your husband takes you on a random photo shoot on your way home from buying the car, you say yes, no matter the lack of makeup or hairdo, you just gotta do it.

Ahhh..home at last. Staying inside after we had 4 tornado warnings and heavy thunderstorms. I don’t do calligraphy professionally, but I try to sit down now and then to decompress and relax with calligraphy, the same way people do with coloring.
To say I feel utmostly blessed is such a bottom-level feeling of what happened. I am so in awe in God, and I know that it’s easier to see Him when He provides, but I just want to write down that He rewarded me immensely this weekend with friends, family, and a car, and I am oh-so-happy.
All photos by Jason 🙂
Live loved,
Brissa
